the small lot on Lime KIlm Road fills up quickly, but there are spaces on the road available. |

only one crossing near the start of the trail traversed by a plank. |

The trail is in great shape. |

Didn't see any dogs today but it would be a fine hike for a dog. |

surprisingly few ! I applied bug spray at the start of the hike and never needed it again. |

My first time up Black Mountain. A small peak that still packs a punch. a good starter hike for those training for something bigger.
We saw a large milk snake just off the summit. They're harmless but a bit intimidating. If you're snake phobic keep an eye out for him. |
