| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The ditch in the road just before the summer parking lot is deeper then last month. Looks like they graded the road and worked on the culvert but I was afraid to go over it with the Corolla. Kid I spoke to with a Yaris said he scraped on the way in. I parked in the winter lot. |

| Comments: |
It was a Waumbek kinda day. Light rain most of the way up to Starr King. Switch to sleet for awhile. At times the really wind howled. Seemed calmer on Waumbek. More sleet as I returned to Starr King. Cool temps led to a very quick hike.
Temperature rose 16 degrees from Jefferson to Conway. |
