| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I drove Paris road 6.9 mi from rt. 110. A bridge on the left crosses the brook. I parked past the bridge where three roads leave. |

Three road leave from the clearing just past the bridge. I took the grassy middle one that heads straight and up hill. This was a great road and provided some great headway towards the peak. I took it up hill and to the west for a considerable distance until I had a view of the peak to the southwest. From there I began to bushwhack. The going was steep and scrappy at times. I searched a few bumps before finding a yellow x at the highpoint (surprising as I associated this trend with NH peaks 2400-2899ft...this one is close to 2400 I suppose). There are some cool through the trees views. A nice spot.
On the way down I mistook another similar skid road for my accent route. I took it, finding it to be muddy and not as good a the other one. I eventually hit an north/south road and took it north, finding that it hit the intersection where I was parked. |
