Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty at the trailhead.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Both crossing of Gale River were easily rock hoppable. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blowdowns were encountered on either trail. The waterbars on the lower Gale River trail were newly cleaned. The rock work on the upper section is really amazing.

Dog-Related Notes: Some of the ledgy areas heading over toward Garfield may have required some boosting.

Comments
Comments: It's amazing how much water spruce trees can hold, we were soaked to the skin in minutes after these 2 short bushwhacks. Both peaks still have the old canisters, rather than the new, larger models I've seen going up everywhere else. The 2 black rubber bands suspending the jar on W Peak up are in really cracked and in bad shape.
