Both crossing of Gale River were easily rock hoppable. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No blowdowns were encountered on either trail. The waterbars on the lower Gale River trail were newly cleaned. The rock work on the upper section is really amazing. |

Some of the ledgy areas heading over toward Garfield may have required some boosting. |

| Comments: |
It's amazing how much water spruce trees can hold, we were soaked to the skin in minutes after these 2 short bushwhacks. Both peaks still have the old canisters, rather than the new, larger models I've seen going up everywhere else. The 2 black rubber bands suspending the jar on W Peak up are in really cracked and in bad shape. |
