| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
No problem parking, but did have some difficulty finding the trail head. Sign for trailhead to left of lodge points down the street, but adjacent to it is a trail that leads to power boxes. Instead, go all the way down the road and behind the massive pile of rock you'll find a sign for Kinsman Ridge Trail |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No significant water crossings but there we some areas where water was trickling over rocks, which made the rocks slick |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was in great shape |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
Mosquitos, some bees, and gnats. Gnats made a meal of my legs ... so itchy! |
| Lost and Found: |
Glasses and a bandana found at trail head, but didn't notice if they were still there when I left |

| Comments: |
Trail is quite nice but steep. Lots of loose rock at the beginning turns into slanted boulder fields before reaching the summit. Trail at the top is mainly boulders until you get to the summit, which levels out. Was a hot day and took a long time to hike the trail, despite it's short length. The amount of effort to hike up easily wears you out. |
