Just one more, I jogged up the road and went right at the fork and then past the cabin the road descends and I went huh? and bushwhacked up to the top. I bounced around on the top wondering and noticed that there was a woods path, perhaps an old road and the west side of the path was lined with no hunting signs. I then remembered bryan's NETC report that there was a path that followed the ridge down to near the cabin. How I didn't notice the nice rock cairn that marked the woods path and maybe jogged my memory, I don't know. The woods path was easy to follow, the no hunting signs are as good as blazes and the grade and footbed were much nicer than my whack up. |
