From near the pond we bushwhacked up to Major mountain in Chatham NH. The woods are open, but you cross several bumps on the way. We used R-maps to recognize a highpoint. This was a small (1823), but prominent peak, without much of great interest. A fun mid-day hike with Fiona. |
