Road to parking area had a huge dip in it and almost could not drive through it. The Forest Service was there when I returned and had the trailhead closed for work. |

Trail is in very good shape. |

There was one hiker unfriendly dog at the chimney at Starr King. Good thing it was on a leash. Can you please leave your
unfriendly dogs at home? Everybody say their dog is friendly when they growl at me. They may be friendly to you but not everybody else. |

Good hike to finish number 47 on the list. Trail is steady on its ascent but not tremendously difficult. |
