A nice 11.6 mile loop. Lots of great views of the Baldfaces climbing on the Bicknell Ridge trail. The summit of North Baldface was memorable with its 360 degree view, light wind, and cool temp. The ascent to the summit has some challenging ledges to climb. Heading north on the ridge the Eagle Crag area had some interesting rock formations. Mt. Meader summit has no view. Steep descent on the first part of the Mt. Meader trail. Walked the last .6 miles along the road to the car. |
