| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The trail head has the space for nine or ten cars and fills up quickly. It's a good reason to get there early. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail has been well maintained and is easy to follow. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
This is an easy trail for fido, a good beginning trail as there are no ledges and it is not steep.
Note, however, that today we saw a bear cup scampering off from the trail. If Lauky had been running free as 9 out of 10 dogs do he would have chased the cub and might have been killed by the mother. Just some food for thought. |
| Bugs: |
A few mosquitoes at the trailhead, but nothing requiring bug spray. Also a few flies and gnats on the summit of Star King. |

| Comments: |
There is a fair bit of mud between the summits but it can be fairly easily bypassed. This trail is never steep and is a good beginner trail. |
