| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The northside trailhead is difficult to find. South of ravine lodge, perhaps by a mile, there is a contemporary metal two-hiker sign nailed to a tree on the south roadside. Next to it is a dirt road, which appears to be a driveway to a camp. In fact this is the road to drive in on. Continue to the gated end of the road and park in one of the turn offs. |

Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
This trail has many drainage brooks crossing it. Care must be taken as many of the rocks are lichen-covered and very slippery. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail has now had a second brushing thanks to the Meetup Over 50 crew on this day. The trail is well-brushed from the north trailhead for 1.75 miles traveling south. We plan one more smaller work trip later this fall to re-blaze the trail and do some minor cleanup. There are a handful of step-over logs which will remain for now. There is one larger, more complex downfall that requires crawling over or under; Whe want to get to that this fall. |
