Finally made it up Arrow Slide! Start of slide was surprisingly close to the flat gravel area/sag (dry now) near the beginning of North Link. Started up the middle of slide, then headed left, and then cut right, taking the right spur of the Arrow at the top. Slabby sections were wet and quite slimy, so I steered clear and hugged the extreme right side. 'Whack was thick for maybe 6 feet, then open woods (IMO) to the trail. Much easier than I thought it would be: donned pants at top of slide thinking it was going to be thick... but it wasn't! FUN. |
