Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: With the drought ton it's worth going now. Rock hopping was still cautiously taken. Water was moving and ice cold!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: With this being the wilderness the trails are what they are. Several down trees (no branches) you step over. Otherwise not too bad. Hike was not taxing as in scrambles, climbs, death defying cliffs, just long.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw several, all friendly.

Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing

Comments
Comments: Hike was not taxing as in scrambles, climbs, death defying cliffs, just long. Even the slide to Owlshead was not as bad as I thought it would be. Watch your footing, take your time and it will be all good. Down was better than up!
No view at the cairn but through the trees and on the slide beautiful.
I must apologize for waking up a few hikers at the first water crossing, 6AM...needed to meet my friends at the base of the slide who back pack in by 8:30AM.
