All trails looked great. Spur to Zeacliff Pond had a couple wandering herd paths at the bottom & some branches in the trail which we threw off. |

Did Zea-Bonds as an out-n-back from Zealand Road. Relatively early start meant very sparsely populated trails until Bondcliff Trail. Visited beautiful Zeacliff Pond today since FP had never been. What a thrill to meet some famous hikers between Bond & Bondcliff today!! Saw two guys on Bondcliff Rock climbing/rappelling off the iconic photo op block. O_O Another group was getting ready to fly kites there. :) Gorgeous sunny day up high! Stopped by hut for water on way out--quick in n out since there was a group of VERY LOUD Boy Scouts & their leaders there for the night. Could still hear them down by the first beaver pond! |
