A blowdown or two, but all the branches had been cut off. They were easy to get around. |

We revisited this peak to update our Fire Tower map. The 3.8 mile RT hike is a steady up for the first 1.4 miles, then it becomes a relentless up until the junction with the snowmobile trail. We saw the remains of the old fire tower and checked out the views. The views were pretty good, but there was a bit of haze, plus it was later in the day for us. We had already been to Owl's Head on our previous hike, so we called it a day on Mount Martha.
