Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Though high, the crossings on the York Pond trail were all doable. The one on the Bunnel Notch trail near the start was flowing over the rocks. A log had been laid down beside the rocks but it was not stable. Barring more rain in the near future, this crossing should be dry again in a few days.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The first mile of the York Pond trail had lots of standing and running water, which should be gone in a few days. The ridge could stand to use some brushing between the middle and north peak. There were a couple of walk around blowdowns on the descent to Bunnell Notch. More running water on the upper section of the Bunnell Notch as well as several more large blowdowns.

Comments
Comments: Very pleasant walk despite all the water. The ridge was especially nice, which I think applies to the whole Kilkenny Ridge trail.
