Comments
Comments: we started up aiming at the first saddle south of the summit. woods were open with nice walking up to the ridgeline and avoided steeper lines farther north. from the saddle we headed north along the ridge up to the summit with lots of moose trails and fresh sign. there is a swamp on the flat just south of the summit, but being a dry year we walked across it staying fairly dry. some scrappy spruce and blowdown for a bit before the woods opened up again to the recognized highpoint. descending we bypassed the swamp to the west before returning to our same general route the rest of the way down.
