i'll second oldmans warning about the dips on the access road. even inching up and down it i scraped a couple of times in a corolla. |

trail in decent shape though drainages are filling up quickly with leaves. some new blazing between the peaks would be appreciated come winter. |

real nice day for a hike. had some great views to the presidentials from the blowdown area just past the summit. watch out for all the downed leaves on the footway in the hardwood section. i kept having flashbacks to ruining myself in these kinds of conditions last fall. the footway once the trail enters the spruce/fir is in great shape minus some mud on the ridge. great to be out. hi ed, i thought it might be you cruising out as i was gearing up. bryan |
