| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking at 7:45 this morning - lot was full late afternoon when I got back. Also, from Lincoln Woods lot to highway (93) took 45 minutes due to foliage-viewing tourists. |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No issues, THOUGH I stupidly jettisoned a bit less than half of my water to lighten my load when jogging, thinking I would fill up at that upper water crossing of Black Brook on the Bondcliff Trail. BAD idea - Black Brook was dry there. :( |

Terrific day exploring in the Pemi. Was hoping to find fragments of old North Fork Trail that leaves Bond summit southeasterly. Found some REALLY thick sections but was fairly open just south of that particular ridge. On and off thick/open sections throughout the descent. Terrific views - lots of oranges out there!!!!! Used major skid roads and old information from previous visits (several, like, 3-4 or more) to whack back to Bondcliff Trail. About 90% certain I found Camp 22-A based on location and several artifacts found - still not 100% but feeling moderately confident *this time* :) (No info on location posted/available and please leave artifacts in place if you find them so the next person can enjoy!!!) :)
NOTE, no, these peaks do not actually count for me as I rode my bike to wilderness boundary - YAY - no lists here anyway!!!! :) |
