Comments
Comments: Expected high winds cancelled plans for Jefferson/Adams so we hooked up with hikered and group in Ferncroft this morning
Parts of lower Blueberry Ledge under water or flowing brook.. Did the ledges get steeper?? Rollins Trail in great shape with several good lookouts into the Bowl. Made quick time up Passaconaway and enjoyed splendid views..We headed down Walden which alternates good stretches with very steep slabs until reaching a deep col. After a just as steep but betterfooting area we hit the Wonalancet Range Trail and enjoyed several fine outlooks. Descent past Wonalancet rocky with very deep leaves which made for a slow pace.. Gorgeous foliage through there..Good Day Out and no regrets for not going higher
