Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Big parking lot complete with nice outhouse. But not big enough for Columbus Day Weekend (cars were on the side of the road). We got a space because it was right before sunset and people had gone.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Good; sign for turnoff onto spur is obvious, as is sign for the Pool (a small pool along the trail

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Two young women were looking for a cell phone between the Gibbs Falls area and the Mizpah Cut-off. They left a note on the kiosk about it. 
 
Comments
Comments: This is short, but steep. You take the Crawford Connector and right before you step onto the bridge you will see the spur path. We did this at sunset, colors were pretty at that hour, but I definitely needed my lights on earlier than normal due to the rooty surface. Nice views of the area near the Highland Center.
