Comments
Comments: Unknown Pond (North)

Colorful fall day. On the Unknown Pond Trail, watch for deep mud, obscured by grass, within 2 minutes of the trailhead. Kilkenny Ridge trail at times confusing when travelling South from Unknown Pond. Limited black ice near Horn summit and on north approach to the Horn, but no need for traction yesterday. Spotted ravens and grouse along the Unknown Pond Trail. At Mt Cabot summit, look forward to friendly grey jays - two visited our party!
