Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We saw a lost puppy (Gruffy) wearing a GPS collar with 2 antennas being escorted to the Wild River Campground by a young couple. They intend to reunite him with the owner. It seemed curious that a lost dog was equipped with tracking, but I guess the batteries don't last.

Comments
Comments: 52 WAV. Beautiful day with breezes, nice views from ledges. We climbed Clockwise and I'd recommend that. The ledges on the BCT going up Eagle Crag are very rough and make reasonably easy climbing, but they're better taken UP. Eagle Crag is the higher and nicer peak of the two. Meader Ridge Trail is a nice woods walk. Significant leaf cover made footing unsure coming down. Color is still pretty.
