Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Upper lot was empty at 9:15. Someone told me it will close for the season after the November 15. Until then, gate is open 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes: Small streams easily crossed.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of recent trail work being done on the red trail. No blowdowns or obstructions.

Comments
Comments: Granite was very slippery, especially at the upper half of the red trail, where the hemlock shading has allowed a healthy growth of moss on the rock. BE careful. Blue trail was much less slippery.
