Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Icy conditions on ~40% of the trail. Shamus and Cinnilla handled it well. Big day for Shamus who has not really been on that much ice before.

Comments
Comments: Helle, Georg the dogs and I had a great day as warm temperatures returned to the Whites. Shorts and T-shirts for much of the hike - as we followed Wolfgang's footprints (and noticed his mark on the trail!!).

Icy conditions from around 3,000 ft. Initially, intermittent - then increasingly solid towards the summit - but melting fast.
Impressive drifts on the open section on Signal Ridge.

Great to run into Mike (aka "Bobcat") and Pemi on the way down.
