I used micros all day. Lower sections of trail mostly a few inches of snow packed down mixed with ice sections. The section coming up to treeline had tons of drifted snow and globs of snow on trees. Heading over to Eisenhower, hit several big drifts since two of us were first ones and route up the loop took some thought. Wind was moderate on summit. It was easier on way back. We actually had sun on the summit. The view of Washington was fantastic. Great day. Used knee brace that worked very well. |
