Hiked with Mark, R Wave, Rolerson working on his grid. I opted out of doing Carter Dome and he caught up to me on Nineteen Mile Brook trail! Last 1/2 hour with head lamps. Snowed lightly and not terrific views but nice to experience Winter conditions. Lot's of ice on the trees between Middle and South Carter was interesting to look at. We saw 4 other hikers (Mark saw one more who was hiking in to the Carter Notch Hut). We bare-booted all day and were pleased with the trail conditions. A great day out in the hills. Q-Wave, Quinlan. |
