Comments
Comments: A beautiful day above treeline, although a bit windier than predicted. There was an undercast, so we did not get blue sky until a ways above treeline on Airline. G&D, Major and I had a great time accompanying Old Man and the Saw on his #572/573 grid peaks--only two hikes left. We all wore spikes to Adams, then four of us switched to snowshoes for reduced effort, which we kept on until about the Watson path junction VW, at which point we went back to spikes. The rock piles are fairly well filled in with snow now, but rocks are still poking through enough to require snowshoe maneuvering.
