Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in very good shape. I cleared a few small blowdowns. What remains are 2 or 3 that will require a larger saw. Don't remember the exact locations, but they will not impede winter travel.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Gryffin rolled in the snow every chance he got. Snowballing was a little problematic. Went through a good amount of Musher's Secret.

Comments
Comments: Barebooting... T-2" from Joe Dodge to Imp to North Carter. Lots of stretches of running water mixed in. 2-4" from North Carter to Carter Moriah, again with stretches of running water. Carter Moriah Trail has 8-10" for most of the length - enough for snowshoes :) The section up to Hight was filled in nicely, as was the Carter Dome Trail back to Zeta Pass. Below Zeta Pass, the snow depth dropped and it got bony so I switched to spikes for the descent. Nineteen Mile Brook was very bony with lots of bare spots.
