Had the mountain to ourselves. We bare booted until the junction with Carter Mariah Tr. Thought microspikes were safer bet going up the steep south side of Carter Dome. Wore them until just beyond Zeta Pass. 2-3 inches of fresh powder from the trailhead at Nineteen Mile Brook Tr. Depth increased to about 4-5 inches in some places going up & over the Dome...no drifts to speak of. Summit was socked in but great day to be out |
