Comments
Comments: Just wanted to update previous reports. Willey Range trail is now completely packed out.
Avalon Trail still choppy, I put on snowshoes at A-Z junction made a fresh track to Mt. Tom Summit.
Met another hiker on summit wearing snowshoes. We began breaking trail on Willey Range until we met Fancypants and Snowflea group who were breaking down hill from Mt.Field. Great running into them. Continued to Mt Willey packing more trail where I encountered three hikers bare booting from summit. Asked them to please put on their snowshoes, which they did. "Thanks for doing that guys". Trail was really nice for my trip back to Field.
Avalon trail in good shape down to Mt. Avalon spur where trail gets choppy with minimal snow cover.
"Please everyone carry and use snowshoes where needed." "Lets make the trails great again"
