Comments
Comments: Nice Christmas day hike up Mt Garfield. Had the mountain to myself except for a couple that was heading up as I was heading down. Road walk was well packed, lower Garfield Trail was icy with a dusting of snow increasing to 1-2 inches up high. Some drifting before Garfield Ridge Trail. Deeper snow on Garfield Ridge Trail. Switched to Snowshoes on Garfield Ridge for the final climb and kept them on heading down until past the snow drifts of Garfield Trail. The rest of the trail was barebootable.
