Comments
Comments: Bottom of the trail was hard-packed snow and easy to walk in bare boots. As we approached the ledges area and climbed the last mile or so towards the summit, the trail turned to ice. Used microspikes in this area- the Kahtoola's worked fine, but the Hillsound Trail Crampons with the bigger teeth worked great. Had snowshoes, but, as expected, did not need them.
