Mt. Clinton Road closed, so parked at Pierce trailhead (plenty of space) and walked to the Edmands Path trailhead. |

I had thigh deep postholing approaching the tree line, so that might be unpleasant for a dog. |

| Comments: |
Probably because Mt. Clinton Road is closed, Edmands Path isn't heavily used. I might have been the only person on it on 12/28, and judging from footprints there might have been only one person on 12/27. I got by with light traction, but snow shoes would have been useful for the final mile or so approaching the treeline. But a major snowstorm forecast for 12/29 changes all that. |
