Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Mt. Clinton Road closed, so parked at Pierce trailhead (plenty of space) and walked to the Edmands Path trailhead.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Drifts, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: Frozen or easy to cross 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns, easily circumvented 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I had thigh deep postholing approaching the tree line, so that might be unpleasant for a dog.

Comments
Comments: Probably because Mt. Clinton Road is closed, Edmands Path isn't heavily used. I might have been the only person on it on 12/28, and judging from footprints there might have been only one person on 12/27. I got by with light traction, but snow shoes would have been useful for the final mile or so approaching the treeline. But a major snowstorm forecast for 12/29 changes all that.
