Walked on Rt. 16 north to Camp Dodge. snow shoed up to Imp following our new friend, Phil, who we met in the parking lot. He was ahead of us and broke out a trail for my brother, Tom, and I to follow. Once we got to Middle Carter the treadway was significantly firmer, having had more traffic. The rest of the day we just followed the well compacted trail. Long day. Thank-you to Phil for awesome trailbreaking! Thank-you Tom for being a good hiking companion. |
