Comments
Comments: Starting out, we had a nice crust that held each of us and made for quick going. These conditions varied with the crust breaking at times. Trailbreaking ranged from standing on crust to near knee depth sinking, with the majority being very manageable. Snowshoes were used for the entire route. We found the route finding to be very straight forward.

The bushwhacks to these peaks are each just stone's throws from the KRT. On blue ridge north, we circled the recognized highpoint before Amy found it only yards from our initial tracks up. All three highpoints are recognized, with one being redundant, illusive, and hard to access. Wolf needs a pencil, as there is only a pen, which worked surprising well despite cold temps.

Big thanks to Amy for joining on this cold, but very nice day out.
