Comments
Comments: Several folks hiked the Owl before yesterdays storm. The Black Pond whack was a good track and easy to follow. Brutus was easy to follow up the old logging road that traverses up to the drainage. From there on the track was covered by yesterdays storm. I zig zagged looking for the track. Sometimes on it and sometimes not. When on only sank in ~4-6". When off sinking in 1-3 feet:( I hit the Owl's Head Path about 15 feet below Brutus Rock. A hard solo day on the Owl.
