Nice day on The Moose. Glencliff parking lot was nearly full when we arrived. We wore Hillsounds for the entire trip -- we didn't really posthole anywhere. The only postholes that we encountered came from a moose who also used the trail -- we decided that the moose could be forgiven for not using snowshoes...
Lots and lots and lots of ice on the trail for the entire trip. Microspikes were the right thing to be using for the whole trip. I'm really not used to Moosilauke having so little snow on top in January... |
