Conditions were nearly perfect for this hike. Monorail was mostly firm with a few post holes. Very little ice. Foot gear ranged from snowshoes (especially with televators), microspikes and full crampons. All worked well, although I leaned toward full crampons. Was an incredibly beautiful day above the clouds with mountain tops peeking out and virtually no wind. |
