Comments
Comments: Mostly packed trail and bare bootable to the start of the Fire Wardens Trail. From there to the summit and back, snowshoes are a must. Previous traffic had bare booters who chewed up the trail pretty good. My pair of snowshoes didn't do much to fix it. Snow was loose and unconsolidated and getting soft and sticky on the way back down. Several skiers were skinning up on my descent, and they did a better job of smoothing out the trail. Overcast and foggy on the summit, but mild temps and no wind made for a pleasant walk in the woods.
