	Trails:	Welch-Dickey Loop Trail

	Date of Hike:	Saturday, January 21, 2017

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	Parking lot was plowed with lots of room

	Surface Conditions:	Ice - Blue, Snow - Wet/Sticky

	Recommended Equipment:	Light Traction

	Water Crossing Notes:	Small water crossing had running water but easily crossable

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	Only 1 blow down we had to climb over

	Dog-Related Notes:	No dogs seen but I'm sure they could handle it

	Bugs:	Saw snow fleas and 1 spider

	Lost and Found:


	Comments:	The trail was well packed with soft snow/ice. No balling with microspikes. There were a few rocks and roots showing on the lower portion. We didn't need to use our crampons or snow shoes because it was warm and it was manageable. If it refreezes you may need crampons on the ledges where there is some ice. Views were limited today because of low clouds but it was warm and no breeze.
