Comments
Comments: Overcast day, temps above freezing under about 2900' yielded damp conditions, with periods of very light drizzle. Felt like Spring in many ways. Above 3000', snow was more fluffy. The group of us 10 Randomites (meetup group) broke out the Unknown Pond Trail up to the pond, and the Kilkenny Ridge Trail from there to the Cabot summit (plus the Horn spur path). The more popular route from York Pond Trail to Bunnell Notch Trail, and Kilkenny Ridge over to Cabot was already well broken-out. So, for you Winter NE100 seekers: go for the Horn/Bulge! [photo gallery link will work later on tonight, January 22, so stay tuned]
