Comments
Comments: Leaving from Diana's Baths, trails were well traveled up to the Attitash tr. junction. We noted tracks up the Attitash tr., which we would later learn only went a very short distance. The trail to north moat was well packed with only very minor blue ice. We headed south off the cone, almost immediately launching a bushwhack on the Moat/Attitash Col. The snow was fairly firm with a breakable crust; we were only sinking a small amount. The woods were medium thick with some matchstick and spruce, but nothing too bad at all. We hit the Attitash tr. near the col, finding it untraveled. We made the short climb to the highpoint, noting the yellow cross that we both remembered was on a blowdown. We returned, via the trail, finding fairly supportive snow. We did not have too much trouble route finding, despite inconsistent blazing. We did not encounter the track that we had noted util we were almost back at the junction. We were both fairly happy with this route.
