Its cold. We saw a dog with us. He had booties on and his hair had ice balls all over. |

Wore traction the entire length, snow shoes would have been good for parts higher on Hale Brook Trail. Hiking poles recommended.
Along one section you will be walking along a side hill and one wrong step could lead your hike downhill fast. Other than that,easy to find trail and do-able with correct gear |
