Comments
Comments: That is a long one! I'd like to thank Jeb for some pre-hike info! The trails and bushwhacks are well broken out. We saw 5 others out on Owllie today. The trail to the summit is a bit deceiving. It didn't look that long on the map, but it just kept going. Strated around 9am, back to the Jeep around 5pm. There is a tricky rock outcrop that has some solid ice and tight maneuvering to get up, and it's a little sketchy heading down. We used snowshow from Black Pond on. Could have switch to micros for the rock outcrop. A good time to hike Owls Head.
