Comments
Comments: Four of us broke the Royce trail to West Royce. Snow was mainly supportive for the entire route, with some softer powder higher up. There was no major sign of recent travel. Surface conditions were powder and breakable crust, with no major ice. The hardest part of the hike was some tough side-hill after the burnt mill brook junction. Two of us headed up East Royce, which I will post in the ME section of this website.

Big thank you to bryan for loaning a snowshoe after I discovered a major break.
