Needed to get out this afternoon and Cube was handy. Started off breaking trail but came across snowshoe and snowboard tracks at one of the first intersections of the old AT after 15 minutes. They continued up to the rocky ledge of the south shoulder of Cube. Shortly after the shoulder the snowshoe/snowboarders headed left into the woods, put their snowboards on and headed down finding the old AT. I continued on to the summit.
So...there is a really good snowshoe trail for half the hike, less broken out for the other half. |
