Comments
Comments: We got on the trail at 7am with snow shoes and we were all very happy to see that skiers had broke out the trail. I think hikers were on the trail too ,SO Thank you for breaking trail ! The snow was still soft early morning and snow shoes were perfect. Crawford Path was frozen with enough snow to get great traction, summit winds were blowing around 40mph but temps were warm and back down to LOC had that beach day feel. Monroe is perfect frozen snow with enough snow for snow shoes to grip , at this time the main trail is not being used ,its just a walk up. Beautiful Sunny day with Al,Dan, Marc ,Rachel, and Larry. Lots of people out today so Ammo should be packed down hard for the rest of weekend, although descending the snow was getting sticky and balling up under snow shoes AMAZING DAY in the Presis.
