Comments
Comments: snowshoes car to car, followed some new tracks on Bridle, passed some bare booters before green leaf hut and met another in shoes with two dogs coming down from Lafayette. trail fairly well broken to green leaf hut, not so much to lafayette. some soft deep drifting snow from hut to treeline, well blown snow above treeline, soft to hard drifts, crust, and trace of rock. broke trail on ridge part way to Lincoln, drifts to 12 " +, slippery snow over ice, nice and windy from the west going across to Haystack, ran into a lot of hikers that came up falling waters. trees starting dumping their snow load on decent with plenty of soft and sticky snow.

majority of other hikers did not have snowshoes on or packed? falling waters was a little bit of a mess from foot traffic. expect bridle to be left in ruff shape if they all went across
