Comments
Comments: We two were very surprised to find that no one had hike Owls Head since last big storms. Nonetheless, we broke out the Black Pond Bushwhack the Lincoln Brook trail from the Bushwhack to the Brutus Bushwhack. By the time we got to the Brutus Bushwack, we were too tired to go further, figuring in the return trip. With this snow, it was like breaking in both directions. There was a firm crust well down in the snow that kept breaking on the return leg, making it like breaking again. Hopefully others will benefit, but Brutus Bushwhack still needs breaking.
